I'm using kubuntu 7.04 (feisty) on an AMD 64 system. An "sudo find / -name lmodern.sty" returns no value, thus lmodern.sty is not installed with tetex and related font support packages in apt-get.
Is lmodern.sty installed in ubuntu and not kubuntu? I also removed ~/.texmf-var to see if that helped and got no results. Any help on this problem in a timely fashion is greatly appreciated.
