HDMI audio support for the NVIDIA GT240 and other "NVA3" cards was added
upstream in kernel 3.3. Can you confirm that it works on Ubuntu 12.10
"Quantal Quetzal" alpha 1?
(Quantal currently contains a 3.4-based kernel and will move to a
3.5-based kernel once 3.5-final is released upstream).
