Seems like the X input device is missing a bunch of properties expected by synaptiks, in my case: - Synaptics Edge Motion Always - Synaptics Tap FastTap - Synaptics Circular Pad
This is on a Lenovo T410 with a "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad".
