this is the content of the terminal emulator when running qastrocam-g2 and
getting the kernel oops:
astro@saturn:~$ qastrocam-g2
<init> : Avifile RELEASE-0.7.48-120122-05:53-../src/configure
<init> : Available CPU flags: fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr

Getting Standard: Inappropriate ioctl for device
ioctl (VIDIOCGWIN): Invalid argument
mmap: Invalid argument

On the AMD64x2, the system do not hang (contrary to the Compaq mini case),
however new USB devices are not registered anymore when they are plugged.

Dmesg with the oops is attached.

** Attachment added: "dmesg for AMD64 desktop"
