I generated the first set of logs earlier today when the machine was running fine.
I generated the second set of logs immediately after a freeze. As described above, all graphics froze except for the mouse cursor. I had Firefox and a terminal window open. None of the tabs in Firefox were playing video, nor was I playing video in any other way. The freeze occurred immediately after I clicked on a NoScript dialog at the bottom of the Firefox window. I then logged into the machine via SSH and ran "apport-collect 1008266". My assumption is that these freezes occur when the desktop environment is trying to alpha blend stuff and gets confused, but what do I know. I have no idea where X, GNOME, Unity, and Compiz begin and end, so it's hard for me to know where to go from here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1008266 Title: X freezes several times a day To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1008266/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
