As a user of the "capiutils" package I can confirm that by modifying /etc/init.d/capiutils to NOT try to (u)mountcapifs (like in the attached version above) the partly installed package can be fully configured (dpkg --configure capiutils) and will indeed provide the expeted functionality (eg. use an old AVM fritzcard to send and receive faxes).
