I can confirm that this problem persists (at least for me) on kernel 3.2.14 (apologies I put 3.2.16 above but I meant 3.2.14). After nearly 5 full days without any problems it has just failed to resume errors as below:
[15253.985618] Restarting tasks ... done. [15254.108071] video LNXVIDEO:00: Restoring backlight state [15254.110178] [drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id [15254.124215] composite sync not supported Then I just get lots of composite syncs not supported. It definitely doesn't seem to happen as often as before, I almost thought it was fixed. I don't know whether it has any bearing, but it seems to happen more often when I have things plugged into the USB port. A mouse in this case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993941 Title: [drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id - fail resume from hybernate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/993941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
