I can confirm that this problem persists (at least for me) on kernel
3.2.14 (apologies I put 3.2.16 above but I meant 3.2.14). After nearly 5
full days without any problems it has just failed to resume errors as
below:

[15253.985618] Restarting tasks ... done.
[15254.108071] video LNXVIDEO:00: Restoring backlight state
[15254.110178] [drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id
[15254.124215] composite sync not supported

Then I just get lots of composite syncs not supported.

It definitely doesn't seem to happen as often as before, I almost
thought it was fixed. I don't know whether it has any bearing, but it
seems to happen more often when I have things plugged into the USB port.
A mouse in this case.
