OK, I just could make things work better reinstalling python-pkg-resources. Now it doesn't throw me any error messages anymore.
However, I still can't install through Software Center. Searching for a package gives me "Available from XXX source" screen. I click "Use this source", it asks me for my password, seams to download something, and then I'm back to the same screen with "Use this source" button. The sources it asks for (universe, multiverse, etc) are enabled. I even can install any package through command line (apt-get), but not through Software Center. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1002981 Title: Software Center won't install or remove any package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/aptdaemon/+bug/1002981/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
