Hi Dave Thanks for responding so quickly! I'm still a relative newb with ubuntu, so I deferred the upgrade for quite long because I just got use to the layout of the GUI. Now when I'm ready to upgrade, I can't! I have tried everything (to my knowledge), and done exhaustive searches on forums and such.
I have posted the contents of the file to the post, so I hope that helps! Cheers -Sarel ________________________________ From: Dave Lentz <1005...@bugs.launchpad.net> To: sarel_a_cilli...@yahoo.com Sent: Monday, 28 May 2012, 3:44 Subject: [Bug 1005291] Re: Update Manager Bug Please post the entire contents of the file in question: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jcfp-ppa-maverick.list ** Package changed: update-manager (Ubuntu) => apt (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005291 Title: Update Manager Bug Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I cannot Update/upgrade Ubuntu in any way, and I also can't install ppa-purge to remove to wayward apps.
