Please cherry pick the commit linked below (and view the upstream bug report if you like), and re-build Rhythmbox for precise. This commit applies to Precise and Quantal but NOT to Oneiric or earlier, because this bug was only introduced in December of 2011, so any Ubuntu release pushed before then is not affected.
