Definitely, minimum icon size 32x32 in Unity 3D is too large for many screens, it seems tuned for visually impaired people. Nothing against half-blind people, of course. However I can still see well, fortunately, even if I am quite old now.
How can one dismiss the problem by saying that this is just an opinion? The right answer would be: "I'll just try to patch it". Or: "This is an intrinsic limitation, there's nothing we can do for now". At least, it would have been an honest answer.
