Thank you for your bug report, do you use unity3d or 2d? I tried here with a french local doing: - right click on the desktop (nautilus) - create a folder "tést" - go to that folder, right click, create an empty document "debugging" - double click on it (open in gedit) - close gedit - open the dash - type "debu" - click on the "debugging" item on the recently used files section
-> gedit opens the debugging file correctly Do you get the issue with the same steps? (using unity-3d here) ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003820 Title: unity dash search can't open files in folder with accent in name To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1003820/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
