So, this bug report is pretty old and nobody bothered to forward it upstream. JFFR, bugs should be reported at http://bugs.i3wm.org/
Anyway, i3status nowadays doesn’t just exit when it can’t read the temperature, instead it displays an appropriate message. If on your system the path is different, you can change that by using the "path" option in the "cpu_temperature" block, as described in the manpage i3status(1). In case your system doesn’t have a thermal_zone in /sys/class, i3status doesn’t support it. IMO, this bug can be closed, but I don’t know how :) Best regards, Michael -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/596415 Title: i3status attempts to read non-existant temperature file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/i3status/+bug/596415/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
