@John: no difference. In fact libbluetooth2-dgbsym was removed later on via synaptic.Also, sorry for the delay, got sort of awfully busy the last month.
atp-get and synaptic behave identically, and sane: they do not try to remove (pretty much) the whole system. @berg: apt-get {dist-upgrade | upgrade} do not try to delete the system. Only aptitude does it, and it behaves the same for upgrade or dist- upgrade.
