Joseph

in <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds>

there is currently no kernel image for a 3.4 kernel, so I fetched:

image-3.4.0-999-generic_3.4.0-999.201205170406_i386.deb>

I can confirm that 3 Mobile Broadband does connect satisfactorily with
this kernel build. I have removed the 'needs upstream testing' tag

Kind regards
John Beatty
