I believe I have the same problem. Attach crash file below.
However beware, because when I opened the crash file to view it, it crashed the
text editor twice, it had two or more lilnes of text overlapping on top of each
other, the text leapt about when scrolling the text editor (Gedit 2.16.1) it
also crashed this page when I pasted it in instead of attaching it. (before I
found the attachment button, doh!)
