Further to my previous post. I did a remmina* purge, restart and re- install. I tried keyboard sync disabled then again enabled. I did notice that in settings tab Keyboard, clicking Host key, pressing right or left ctrl+"some_key" yields capitalised some_key as the result displayed. I now believe Remmina is not responding to my Ctrl keys and that is the actual cause of my Ctrl- key problems when working on my win-box.
If anyone thinks this post belong somewhere more appropriate; please advise.
