Hi Leo, Sorry for the confusion my bug status changes have caused. However, the uTouch project does not do hardware enablement anymore. We focus on making a multitouch software stack that works with all devices with working drivers. As such, this bug is for a "wished" for fix. It isn't a regression.
Soon, I plan to transition most hardware bugs to the linux Ubuntu package where they really should be targetted. However, this is not a signal that anyone on the uTouch team or elsewhere will be working on the bugs. We basically need more people who are willing and able to contribute support for all the various hardware that is out there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801988 Title: [Acer W500] multitouch doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/utouch/+bug/801988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
