I just tried switching from nvidia to nv in xorg.conf, and it didn't
make a difference for me. Running /etc/acpi/hibernate.sh still ends with
a "FATAL: Module acpi_sbs not found." and kicks me back to the desktop.
I recently found out that I could eliminate the first FATAL warning of the
output shown in my initial post by changing the line
NOLM_AC_CPU_GOVERNOR=performance
to
NOLM_AC_CPU_GOVERNOR=ondemand
in /etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf. So now I don't get the "FATAL: Module
cpufreq_performance not found." anymore.

But I wonder what the acpi_sbs module is, and how I can add it, if
needed. Googling hasn't given me any good answers, but it seems to be
battery-related somehow.
