Upon running virtualbox, I was informed that virtualbox-ose-dkms was not
installed. I installed it with sudo apt-get, and encountered the same
message again.

I ran the command 'dkms build virtualbox/4.1.12'
* Is there a GUI way to performs this action? I could not find it
* Was this action supposed to have occurred automatically upon 'apt-get install
virtualbox-ose-dkms'? That did not happen

As the bug report suggests, I ran it as a non-root user and was
momentarily confused by the error messages

Perhaps this is a symptom of a bug in the virtualbox-ose-dkms
installation?

(After running 'dkms build virtualbox/4.1.12' and 'dkms install
virtualbox/4.1.12' as root, I was able to start the virtualbox service
and use virtualbox.)
