Public bug reported: For some reason, even though I'm running my desktop in en_US locale, the "Style" combobox has an item spelled "Centred". The correct American English spelling is "Centered".
before: $ echo $LANGUAGE en_US:en_GB:en [menu item shows up as "Centred"] after: $ export $LANGUAGE=en_US [menu item shows up as "Centered"] So it seems that it is using the british spelling in this application for some reason. ** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- In background preferences, 'centred' should be 'centered' in en_US https://launchpad.net/bugs/58055 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
