Public bug reported: The bug is present in all workspaces, when I go in fullscreen and switch workspaces (not move vlc window in fullscreen, but just switch workspaces) and go back to vlc and restore window with the player bar at the bottom visable, it stays visable but its not functional. Sort of like inception.
