Forgot about the problem when I upgraded to Precise 12.04 from oneiric. I have root on lvm and I took a snapshot before upgrade. Everthing worked fine for couple of boots and after _one_ day of using the machine My system timedout on watersched vgchange -a y, but the lvm volume was availeble in initrd shell.
Removing the snapshot made my system bootable again. A workaround for this problem whould be appreciated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360237 Title: cannot boot root on lvm2 with (largish) snapshot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lvm2/+bug/360237/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
