A couple of releases ago, at least, the problem wasn't that the warning appears, but that the warning dialog would often trigger a bug and prevent a file from loading (race condition?) when RoseGarden was launched with a file argument. I'm not sure if that is fixed now or not, because I haven't used RoseGarden much recently.
For the program itself, though, it would be nice to add an option to disable the warning dialog. The system timer affects only the quality of playback, not of score editing, MIDI generation, etc., so a lot of users just won't care and don't need to see the warning every time they launch. That's an upstream issue, though. -- error when opening Rosegarden program: "System timer resolution is too low" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/67568 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
