Public bug reported:
When I use the dash to search applications (for example gedit, qtiplot,
gftp, transmission, gimp, nitro, etc), the dash do not returns results
or returns results from the music lens. In order to get the correct
results I have to delete the search close the dash and search again,
sometimes I have to do this once, sometimes twice or more. I generally
observe this problem the first time I use the dash or when I have not
been using the dash for sometime.
