Hi Ayan, thank you for the support and dedication - I really appreciate it. I've made a couple of tests, on a fresh 12.04 standard 64 bit installation.
- a default data burnt DVD is still unreadable. As already pointed out, it is not even anymore possible to change (nor see) the on-the-fly option - after applying your PPA, there is no problem at all So, from my point of view, go on urgently with the patch! Note: for testing, use a DVD-RW. And resurrect it with: sudo dvd+rw-format -force /dev/cdrw sudo dvd+rw-format -lead-out /dev/cdrw Thank you again, Nico -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/780117 Title: Brasero finishes without error but unusable media [on-the-fly mode] (Ubuntu 11.04 ->12.04) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/brasero/+bug/780117/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
