Public bug reported: The System Settings window sin 12.04 cannot be resized. I have installed the MyUnity configuration tool and it has added a new option to the "Personal" section of the settings window. This has caused the "Ubuntu One" icon to push down to a second line and now the "System" category scrolls off the window.
There is a scroll bar, so the options are reachable, but ideally the System Settings window would expand so that everything fits in the window or allow me to resize it. ~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Release: 12.04 ~$ apt-cache policy gnome-control-center gnome-control-center: Installed: 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-24.37-generic-pae 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia wl ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 Architecture: i386 Date: Thu May 3 12:38:55 2012 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-control-center InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release i386 (20120423) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-control-center UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) usr_lib_gnome-control-center: activity-log-manager-control-center 0.9.4-0ubuntu3 deja-dup 22.0-0ubuntu2 gnome-bluetooth 3.2.2-0ubuntu5 indicator-datetime 0.3.94-0ubuntu2 ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/994093 Title: System Settings Window cannot be resized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/994093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
