You are absolutely right that with Faenza it looks OK, but this is not
because there is no problem - the Faenza theme just doesn't follow this
pattern with some of the icons, namely 'Workspace Switcher' and 'Show
Desktop'. It does only with 'Dash Home' and ' Trash' - please, have a
look at the picture attached. The 'Dash' and 'Trash' icons went red,
following the colour of the wallpaper, while the colour scheme for
'Workspace Switcher' and 'Show Desktop' remains grey-blue.

Anyway, I should have made it perfectly clear from the beginning: the
issue I'm complaining about is with the default theme. And I think we
should expect it to be fixed for the default one. User-maintained
solutions, like Faenza, can do whatever they want. :)
