Today i did an upgrade to lubuntu 12.04 and since the graphic driver before on
oncelot was no good i just quickly chanced it to proprietor before i had the
shut-down. After reboot the system started to run smooth and the very moment i
wait for trip point 57°C to kick in.
Until that i might ad what i have experienced so far.
Visual, yes it is nice.
dpkg had a hang on reboot after upgrade and bug report got stuck.
If i wouldn't have quickly installed the proprietor driver i would be busted.
.....and WOW i have seen my system for the first time since several month below
60°C.
trip point 57°C works and is lowest fan speed now (48°C must have expired last
year)

Trouble is i have difficulties in believing the values displayed.
Probably i only have paranoia like every win user has, in this case related to
previous fan speeds and displayed temperatures.
I hope, i am just paranoid.

Have fun M.Peters
the guy who bought a Linux Laptop because he was sick of win
