First problem started with multiple monitors being detected then
flipping out flashing monitors like a strobe light. Switched video card
from onboard to nvidia based card and got the new drivers. Now I am
having the same problem as comment #3 with a similar setup.

I have tried turning "sticky" edges on and off for the one "laptop"
monitor that is being detected, despite having two monitors being
plugged in and changing video card.

Tried changing which monitor is plugged in at start up and did manage to
get each to boot up successfully however the other remains grey'd out.

have tried multiple settings variations through nvidia display and
xconf. Still nothing. will check back tomorrow after further reading and
work.
