After googling I've arrieved to this bug. The same happens to me.
I have a Belkin USB WiFi adapter, output from "lsusb":
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 050d:845a Belkin Components F7D2101 802.11n Surf & Share
Wireless Adapter v1000 [Realtek RTL8192SU]
It works in previous version of Ubuntu (11.10 - Oneiric), but after distro
update the problem of this bug appear.

I've achieved to solve the problem, and just for sharing the things I did was:
1) I tried to update to kernel 3.4-rc4 as Joseph suggested, but it happens the
same.
2) I tried to downgrade to kernel 3.0.0-17, the same that Oneiric used, and
voilá now it works.

I read, googling, that the driver r8712u (used by Realtek RTL8192SU) is
broken in kernels 3.2 and 3.3. And, at least for me, is broken too for
version 3.4.

Thank you all.
