Using precise-proposed unity 5.12 now. Little bit weird, I'm pretty sure I was able to drag a folder out of nautilus to the hidden launcher (which opened as expected) ONLY on the first try. I didn't drop the folder and its really hot here - so I'm not 100% sure, gonna log out & try again.
