was working consistently on Dell D610 Latitude with Ubuntu 11 but fails completely (no lights, no detection, no signal, no connection) after upgrade to 12.04. Other systems including Etho seem OK. Have run diagnostics as described on Ubuntu help forums dealing with PCMCIA card and wifi networks to no avail. Card is detected fine and works on a Dell Latitude D600 running Ubuntu 10.10. Have searched Linksys for driver but download page only has docs. the WPC100 file I do have is a .sys file and the Ubuntu NTS window driver program does not recognize it as a driver. Have already tried re booting with and without card inserted; no joy. D610 has no internal wifi, Linksys WPC100 card chosen as it has wifi B, G and N protocols as does my router. The D600 I tested it on also has an internal mini pcm wifi card, but this seems to present no problem to the Ubuntu 10.10 'EasyPeasy' distribution (detects both wifi cards and Etho fine). Wondering if I need to scrap 12.04 LTS and revert to previous which worked. Have searched system for 'add hardware', 'install PCMCIA card' or similar but nothing found.
