Followup: I still occasionally see problems with suspend-to-RAM: * resume from RAM gets wedged and won't respond until I hit the blue "Fn" key in the lower left of my keyboard.
* Instead of suspending, I am taken to the "unlock user interface" dialog that one normally encounters when resuming. gnome-power-manager puts up a balloon advising me that suspend failed (no kidding!) and telling me to check the Gnome FAQ about the problem. * The CPU Frequency monitor applet(s) won't respond to mouse clicks and doesn't seem to be updating. These are just examples, and they don't happen every time. -- Dapper / IBM T60p - sleep/suspend does not work when configured https://launchpad.net/bugs/50324 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
