Hello, I'm just writing to confirm that I also have this issue. I followed the instructions to confirm that I am running the scope and it I can connect to the server. Still in the Video Lens the only category is "My Videos." I don't know about Ubuntu TV but I think I tried once to get the Video Lens to show Youtube videos, a couple months ago, via omgubuntu or webupd8 tutorial, it never worked though.
