*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported:
I just did an Alternate Install on Precise (12.04), and chose to create a command-line only system. After rebooting, Ubuntu automatically connected to the wireless network I used during install! Which would be awesome, except that it threw my WPA key into /etc/network/interfaces, which is readable by all. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Visibility changed to: Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/991466 Title: /etc/network/Interfaces needs proper permissions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/991466/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
