This is also not working on any of my computers running 7.04 with
generic USB dongles. It was working fine until the upgrade to Feisty.

The main issue I have is that hcitool can detect the phone after a scan,
however when "hcitool cc" is issued I do not have enough time to type
"hcitool auth". The BT icon on my phone changes for about 0.5 of a
second to "connection active" ( the usual "B<" plus "<>") and then
looses the connection again.

I have tried restarting, reinstalling and resetting the pairings
(deleted everything in /var/lib/bluetooth), the hcid.conf, dbus and
rfcomm.conf to no avail.

Does anyone have either further ideas for me to try or a patch for this?
I have discovered that this seems to affect other distros, so I am
wondering if this is an up-stream issue.

Cheers,

M.
