Public bug reported: Dear all,
I have been using Ubuntu 12.04 for one month now and today I decided to give the heads-up display a chance. The stange thing is that the suggestions do not correspond with the application that has focus. For instance if I open Terminal and type "open" to open a new tab, I get the suggestion to open my Dropbox folder. I do not see the relevance of this suggestion at all. Do I have to train the HUD and how could I do that? Or is there a possibility to reset what the HUD has already learned? Or perhaps it is just a bug in the software? I would not know right now, but have to say it is completely useless on my machine. Thanks for any suggestions. ** Affects: indicator-appmenu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/989001 Title: hud does not show application specific functions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-appmenu/+bug/989001/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
