More information on this matter. I am using the current 12.04 release and all is working fine as long as I don't use mumble. my previous comments about battery vs. wall-power doesn't seem to hold water any more.
One way I managed to get this bug to rear its ugly head is by using Mumble. Mumble seems to trigger something in the stack that causes this issue. I would like to know how can I find out if the Wireless card is doing (other than watching syslog, which shows nothing). I need to track the wifi kernel module activity and power state. Any help is appreciated. BTW, the problem persists in 3.4rc3 (much worse to be frank) so I want to nail it because using Mumble on calls is a bit of a crap shoot now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/945344 Title: After laptop resumes, wireless connects but no Internet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/945344/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
