One way of doing it is through the graphical user interface of synaptic (Menu: System->Preferences->Synaptic...). The quicker way of doing it is via the command line:
1. Open a terminal (Menu: Accessories -> Terminal) 2. Type in: sudo apt-get remove --purge uswsusp 3. Press enter and give your password The --purge option also removes all configurations related to uswsusp just to be sure. You can leave it out if you want. -- Boot process asks for "resume device file" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108230 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
