Christopher M. Penalver, I don't know if the bug I reported is still valid as I no longer use the computer which had the problem. I upgraded to a newer computer, which is actually what I'm using right now with the Oneric Ocelot release and I have no problems whatsoever. I will try my best to find answers to your questions but it may take me a while since I've given away that old computer to my mom and she uses Windows XP on it which is installed as a dual boot option. Now, seeing that other people were also affected by this bug I don't feel right changing the status to fixed and /or adding/removing tags. Give me a couple of weeks so that I can test the problem computer and hopefully give you some results then.
