Public bug reported:

When trying to upload/download tracks I get the error following error
message:

Failed to download tracks. Failed to configure USB: could not set config
1: Die Operation ist nicht erlaubt

For Ubuntu 11.10 the following solution worked:
- Create file: /etc/udev/rules.d/51-garmin.rules
- Add line: SYSFS{idVendor}=="091e", SYSFS{idProduct}=="0003", MODE="0666"

This has no effect for 12.04.

I observed the same problem with viking and with the 32bit version.
