I want to note that, currently, the windows never show blank in the spread view. Which I think they were, in my earlier round of symptoms, and there were bug reports related to that, too. So at the moment, I don't see blank windows in the spread, or at any time other that following maximize->minimize. This may differ from symptoms seen by others. Have no ideas about this, yet. (Now will attempt bedtime, then tomorrow will befall me, so pardons if I don't pick up the thread promptly.
