I came across the same issue on Ubuntu 12.04 beta2 when I switched to Xfce. I could toggle the Bluetooth on and off but none of my previously pair Bluetooth devices/profiles were available.
Work-around: 1. Type the following on a Terminal console sudo service bluetooth restart 2. Select Bluetooth icon on Xfce. 3. Verify existing Bluetooth devices/profiles now appear I am using an external usb Bluetooth adapter. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/789023 Title: Problem with Bluetooth service (Mint 11 Stable) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/789023/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
