update: if was some minutes of line due one interesting bug, a new one :) After i tryed to use gui tool to change position of displays, x crashed with some strange artifacts on internal display. Then the gui tool got time out and recovered a least one, internal display. I tried to reboot, _but_ i was not able to use this kernel any more. it crushed every time i started it, the older one (3.2.0-23-generic) worked ok. I also tryed to poweroff and use other kernel to recover working environment for testing kernel (3.4.0-rc3-00591-g046ae93) with no luck. Then i started windows, and went back to testing kernel and it works now again.
So.. i assume this kernel triggered some register which stay configured even after reboot, and only windows able to set it back. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/946311 Title: only external screen is working with asus zenbook ux31e [eDP1] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/946311/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
