Public bug reported: Command: sudo apt-get install ksysguard [from memory ...]
In installing ksysguard onto an Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit system the tail end of the console output reported: /sbin/ldconfig.real: /usr/lib32/libXdmcp.so.tar is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start. The above line repeated for libXau.so.tar, and libxcb.so.tar Being a 64-bit system, I have not so far seen any adverse effects for me.
