The only thing sticking out is the somewhat "non-mainstream" message content. No other (ZTE) device is using this.
I'd suggest trying with the mainstream ZTE command (basically an EJECT): - Extract the "19d2:0166" file from /usr/share/usb_modeswitch/configPack.tar.gz - Put it into /etc/usb_modeswitch.d and edit it - Replace the existing MessageContent line with these: MessageContent="5553424312345678000000000000061e000000000000000000000000000000" MessageContent2="5553424312345679000000000000061b000000020000000000000000000000" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/979697 Title: Modeswitching modem not working in USB 3.0 port To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/usb-modeswitch/+bug/979697/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
