ok, checked with Matthew, in fact, the issue is quite different from what I though. It only impacts people having unshare a computer in the unstable precise version from February to yesterday. Note as well that apart from popping apport, it's not harmful and you are still sharing your computers. As this only happened on the unstable channel and that I don't want to workaround it now to avoid getting other issues, you have two ways to fix it: - share/stop sharing another host than the current one in software-center center. - or remove ~/.cache/oneconf/<id>/pening_upload file.
I'll mark this one as fix released for now. Thanks for helping debugging it :) ** Changed in: oneconf (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/940729 Title: oneconf-service crashed with ValidationException in wrapper(): Argument 'machine_uuid' must match pattern '[-\w+]+$' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/oneconf/+bug/940729/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
