Public bug reported: Not sure this is a bug or a feature request.
I found the import music confusing, it gives the impression music is transferred to Rythembox but it stays at its location. I lost some files recently because I assumed Rythembox manages the music directory in simular ways as a lot of other music applications. Copying files to the set music folder and managing this. two points: import file/folder > add file/folder - better description in my view. A feature request > manage music directory Jeroen ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: rhythmbox 2.96-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-22.35-generic 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-22-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Apr 11 08:35:50 2012 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111012) SourcePackage: rhythmbox UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-03-02 (39 days ago) ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug apport-lpi precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/978620 Title: import music does not work correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/978620/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
