I said that I can suspend with the uswsusp package, but I have since
found that s2disk also fails, I would say more than 50% of the time. I'm
not sure if it's allright to post about it in this bug report, but maybe
the two problems (swsusp and uswsusp) are related. You can read more in

I recently posted a question to uswsusp's developer mailing list, and
they answered that it is a kernel problem. I'm running the default
kernel in Ubuntu 7.04: 2.6.20-16-generic.
