I said that I can suspend with the uswsusp package, but I have since found that s2disk also fails, I would say more than 50% of the time. I'm not sure if it's allright to post about it in this bug report, but maybe the two problems (swsusp and uswsusp) are related. I recently posted a question to uswsusp's developer mailing list, and they answered that it is a kernel problem.
